What i’ve realised lately is that a person is not made up of human stuff only. We (YES WE) are made up of stuff that is not of this world, we have a spiritual side to ourselves. Its something that we cant really put our finger on exactly what it is, so we end up putting differend kinda stuff inside.

It is not meant to be that way, and it damages the lorry.

As it is with us. I’ve been thinking whats up with my spiritual side. You always hear cliche answers when you ask someone that isnt it? like there’s a list of answers and you just pick and choose one. For example, oh, i’ve been busy. pfft. JESUS WAS BUSY. ha! no excuse for that. So anyways,for myself, i found out what’s been the problem, there’s been no rationalization. For example!

If you have exams, its rational to study.

So, i’ve been not attending to my spiritual needs and its high time i do.

If your thirsty, GET A DRINK.

It’ll be the same for anyone facing any situation, if you got a problem, find a solution. mope-ing , emo-ing, feeling guilty about it is getting you nowhere except to you lying to yourself that life sucks and all that nonsense you read on people’s facebook posts.

You don’t have to have a religion, or attend church, temple, mosque every week to attend to those needs. INTERNET! hello…! Google?! heard of it? Where have you been living if you have not heard of the all-knowing GOOGLE.

What are you doing up so late!

Its quite interesting when you think about it.

Why do people stay up late night chatting,facebook-ing,tweeting and what not?

Personally, i think it is because its much quieter and serene. Not as noisy as when everyone in the neighbourhood is awake. There’s time for yourself, instead of having to do chores or going about our daily business. At the wee hours in the morning or late into the night, i think that’s when we feel most relaxed. (Besides the few occasions we have deadlines to meet) True it not? I don’t think that the younger generation should be deprived of this, state of mind. However, it is always necessary to have enough sleep and that shouldn’t be neglected. Hence! I am off to bed.

When I think about life after death. it scares the shit outta me. we have one chance at life, and what we do, determines the outcome. its not being emo, its looking at the bigger picture. you, who are reading this, may or may not believe in a God, or have the same belief as myself, and according to law, that’s perfectly fine, because its about peace , no? however, Christians are taught to spread the Gospel, which i admit have done miserably at. Yes i am a Christian, but yes, i am a sinner . I apologize for anyone in your life who has portrayed to you that Christians are “more holy than you”, because we aren’t. I believe that God, has redeemed us. That does not mean that we earn that redemption, or that we qualify for it after doing a certain amount of good deeds. It is grace. There is a quote which say “grace makes life unfair” , because we get what we do not deserve. Jesus, Son of God, was crucified ndt suffered for us. Yes, all of us. He is different from any other human because he was born from his parents having sexual intercourse, but it was because the Holy Spirit, conceived in Jesus’ mother, Jesus. Hence, no sin was passed down from father to child. hence, he was without sin.

in perspective

How does one repay a debt when one does not have ‘money’? You can’t borrow from someone else who has no ‘money’. (which is all of mankind) Jesus,(who was without sin) paid that debt for us because he had ‘money’ (sinless) It’s something like that.

This grace that God gives is free, all there is to .. is to believe. It’s mind blowing to me that God, would do something so amazing. Only when we are without sin, (after believing and accepting Christ) can we be with God. We can’t be with God with sin because God is Holy. Pure.

I hope that what i wrote is right, if there are mistakes, or something wrong, please do let me know. i wouldn’t want to post up something inaccurate,

Pulled off my other toe nail today which was cracked. strange enough this one cracked first but the other came off first. anyways! got controversy. the nurse on the phone with some person asking to verify this person’s IC. then ,

nurse : “yes, yes, she wants to get an abortion….etc”

10 minutes later

its my turn. since pulling my nail is going to take awhile, i graciously let the other patients go ahead first.

waiting, the doctor is on the phone this time

doctor : “no no, not abortion, avulsion. you nak I eja? A-V-U-L-S-I-O-N. tak ada kaitan with pregnant”

15 minutes later

i step in and told the doctor i wanna pull off the other nail. this doctor pulled off my other one as well. sitting on the little bed thingy, my toe is injected twice to numb it.

doctor : “can you feel this?”

me : “yes, nevermind lah, just pull it off”

hence, it was done.

FUN FACT : there was a total of 3 pulling off nails of operations today (until the point i left)

i got a new phone! yes, AGAIN. i promise, its the last one for many years. haha, anyways, after trade in, i got it at a very good price. anyways… as you can see.. 5 megs baby! woot. and cybershot once again! if you actually know what phone i use, after my old sony went out of order i used this nokia phone, E71. pretty sure you’ve heard of it.

frankly, im not one for nokia. so for awhile, i haven’t taken many pictures, but NOW! i will. my phone is silver though, not black. i found black very high maintenance, because scratches are highly visible. oh, and something cool, this phone is EXTREMELY loud. haha. so its like a walkman mix cybershot. :)

there is also some greenheart version, sony is coming out with this line that is eco friendly. you can go Google it. they have yet to advertise much though. anyways. key thing about this phone is the XENON flash, which is equivalent of an actually camera flash

the clinic did a much better job that the hospital , the last time i removed my toe nail. you see closely in the after pict, there are 3 red dots. those are my war scars, where she injected me with anaesthetic before pulling my nail off. 3 TIMES! the hospital only did it once, in the wrong place. and i could feel everything! my left toe nail is due to come off soon, so i will post that as soon as it happens :)

Black Hawk Down is a 2001 American war film co-produced and directed by Ridley Scott and based on the book of the same title by Mark Bowden that depicts the Battle of Mogadishu, a raid integral to the United States' effort to capture Somali warlord Mohamed Farrah Aidid.

In a raid, a task force of Delta Force soldiers, Army Rangers, and Special Operations Aviation Regiment attempt to capture two of Mohammed Farah Aidid's senior subordinates in the Bakaara Market neighborhood of Mogadishu. The mission is led by Major General William F. Garrison and was supposed to take no more than one hour. The extraction by the Delta team is successful, but the Somali militia, armed with RPGs, shot down two Black Hawk helicopters, and the resulting rescue extends the mission to over 15 hours.

The film follows many characters through the build-up, assault and rescue. It shows how Staff Sergeant Matt Eversmann was placed in charge of Ranger Chalk Four, before portraying the raid and successful extraction of the wanted persons, and shows the first injury, as PFC Todd Blackburn falls from a helicopter as it maneuvers to avoid an RPG. This is the beginning of the indication that the troops are overwhelmed by the volume of enemy militia, and builds up to the two helicopter crashes: Super Six-One piloted by Cliff "Elvis" Wolcott, and Super Six-Four piloted by Mike Durant. Durant is taken prisoner after the two Delta snipers who requested to be inserted near the crash site of Super Six-Four are killed while defending him.

The film also follows two Chalk Four machine gunners who are supposed to return with the extraction team, but miss the humvees as they leave, and get lost. One of them is deafened by machine-gun fire, but they eventually make their way back to Eversmann. Cpl Jamie Smith attempts to rescue one of them, whose ammo pack was shot and exploded, but Smith is shot as well, and eventually bleeds to death as the Rangers attempt to give him medical care.

The film begins to reach its conclusion as the U.S. forces regain control with strafing runs by Little Bird helicopters, and a convoy of troops from the 10th Mountain Division, along with other United Nations forces, arrives to extract the wounded. Back at the base, Norm "Hoot" Hooten begins to restock on ammunition, preparing to go back out to rescue downed soldiers, and Eversmann tells dead Jamie Smith that he will fulfill his dying wish.

The film ends with text informing the viewer that "1000 Somalis died and 19 Americans lost their lives in the conflict. Mike Durant was released after 11 days of captivity. On August 2, 1996, warlord Mohamed Farrah Aidid was killed in Mogadishu. General Garrison retired the following day."

Malaysian military officials whose troops were also involved in the fighting have raised complaints regarding Black Hawk Down's accuracy.
